Chris Baker is the Owner and Principal of Baker Business & Tax Services, bringing a rare combination of accounting expertise and hands-on business experience to his clients. He holds degrees in Accounting, Construction Management, and Industrial Engineering from Northern Kentucky University, giving him a strong foundation in both financial strategy and operational decision-making.
Chris began his career in construction management with WALTEK before transitioning into public accounting. In 2015, he helped launch a family-owned accounting practice, where he gained extensive experience working with small businesses across a wide range of industries. In 2021, he founded Baker Business & Tax Services with a mission to provide practical, responsive, and personalized accounting and tax services.
Chris specializes in small business tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, helping business owners understand their numbers, stay compliant, and make confident financial decisions as they grow.

Sarah Amshoff serves as the Office Manager and Onboarding Specialist at Baker Business & Tax Services and has worked in the accounting industry since 2019. Kelly Mando is the Payroll Manager at Baker Business & Tax Services and has been working in the payroll and administrative field for over three years. She joined the firm in July 2023 and plays a critical role in managing payroll onboarding and ongoing payroll services for new and existing clients.
Kelly works directly with business owners to set up payroll for new companies, apply for tax identification numbers, and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date. She holds an Associate’s degree and is known for her friendly demeanor and ability to help clients understand the ins and outs of payroll.
