Chris Baker | Owner & Accountant | Baker Business & Tax Services
Chris Baker is the Owner and Principal of Baker Business & Tax Services, bringing a rare combination of accounting expertise and hands-on business experience to his clients. He holds degrees in Accounting, Construction Management, and Industrial Engineering from Northern Kentucky University, giving him a strong foundation in both financial strategy and operational decision-making.
Chris began his career in construction management with WALTEK before transitioning into public accounting. In 2015, he helped launch a family-owned accounting practice, where he gained extensive experience working with small businesses across a wide range of industries. In 2021, he founded Baker Business & Tax Services with a mission to provide practical, responsive, and personalized accounting and tax services.
Chris specializes in small business tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, helping business owners understand their numbers, stay compliant, and make confident financial decisions as they grow.

Sarah Amshoff | Office Manager | Baker Business & Tax Services
Sarah Amshoff serves as the Office Manager and Onboarding Specialist at Baker Business & Tax Services and has worked in the accounting industry since 2019. She holds an Associate degree in Applied Business from the University of Cincinnati and is QuickBooks Certified, a Microsoft Office Specialist, and IRS AFSP certified for 2025.
Sarah plays a key role in managing daily office operations, coordinating internal workflows, and guiding clients through the onboarding process. She works directly with clients to ensure documentation, timelines, and communication stay on track while also supporting tax preparation and internal coordination.

Kelly Mando is the Payroll Manager at Baker Business & Tax Services and has been working in the payroll and administrative field for over three years. She joined the firm in July 2023 and plays a critical role in managing payroll onboarding and ongoing payroll services for new and existing clients.
Kelly works directly with business owners to set up payroll for new companies, apply for tax identification numbers, and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date. She oversees payroll processing, employee data management, and compliance details to make sure employees are paid correctly and on time.
Before joining Baker Business & Tax Services, Kelly spent over 12 years in billing and coding for GI doctor offices and surgery centers, giving her a strong background in accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory detail. She holds an Associate’s degree and is known for her friendly demeanor and ability to help clients understand the ins and outs of payroll.

Lisa Hartman | Senior Accountant | Baker Business & Tax Services
Lisa Hartman is a Senior Accountant at Baker Business & Tax Services and brings over 40 years of experience in accounting and financial management. She joined the firm in 2025 after serving as a Controller for large manufacturing companies, including roles in the automotive and food manufacturing industries. Lisa also has experience working with the owner of multiple Crunch Fitness franchises, in the accounting and finance administration.
Lisa specializes in bookkeeping and general accounting, with extensive experience managing QuickBooks for accounts payable, accounts receivable, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. She works closely with clients to help them understand their full financial picture, clean up historical records, and maintain accurate books that support long-term business growth.
Her background in both corporate accounting and business ownership allows her to bring a practical, real-world perspective to client finances.
